BEING A STRONG WOMAN

Did you know the strong get weak sometimes?

Do you know we cry sometimes?

Superwomen get weary sometimes and we are never allowed to be weak. Why is that? A famous poem said “rest if you must but do not quit”. We are human too, we cry, we eat and breathe the same as everyone else. So why do we get penalised for our success? Why are we seen as independent women because we are driven? When we are pulling 60 to 80 hours a week, whilst raising a family and keeping a home, we are still not as good as our male counterparts. You see I am a strong woman and there is not shame or blame in that. Please do not interpret my strength as intimidating, its not fair. Please do not see me as a threat just because I desire a better quality of life. Please greet me when you see me coming and say ‘hey lady do you need a hand getting to the top”? Embrace my strength do not run away from it. I am strong on most days so I can inspire other females but today let me rest.

To my strong females who resonate with this and to the men that love us. Please share.

Can my strong ladies please stand up…
